Eastern head football coach Beau Baldwin and head men's basketball coach Jim Hayford will be making public appearances in June as they talk about their programs with fans and friends.

Baldwin will be in Portland, Ore., on Tuesday, June 7, at the Red Lion Hotel on the River as a continuation of "The Road to the Championship with Head Football Coach Beau Baldwin" statewide visits.

Alumni and friends are invited to attend to hear details about the 2010 NCAA Division I National Football Championship that Baldwin and the Eagles won this past season. The presentation is free, and food and beverages will be available for purchase.

The championship trophy will also be on display as Baldwin breaks down the championship game, answers questions and talks about the magical debut season of EWU's new red Sprinturf surface at Roos Field (formerly Woodward Field) in Cheney, Wash.

Hayford, who was named EWU's new head coach on March 29, will be making nine appearances in June throughout the Spokane area.
