Police Shut Down Rave At Lincoln Center

SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police shut down a rave party at the Lincoln Center because of an unruly crowd Friday night. Police say at about 10:40 pm last night, they responded to the Lincoln Center for a drugs call. Police had responded about a half hour before for a fight outside. While officers were dealing with the call, security at the event told officers that the crowd outside was getting unruly.  The promoter pre-sold tickets to the event, and then sold tickets at the door.  The venue held a little over 700 people. Once the party filled to capacity, people who bought during the pre-sale were not allowed in. Officers estimated there were 400-500 people outside the venue not being allowed access. The crowd outside started pushing on the doors to get in.

Officers told the crowd, they were not going to be let in because the building was to capacity and security was not allowing anyone else in. Some members of the crowd threatened to start a riot.  Police responded to the scene in force, and with help from the promoter the crowd outside was dispersed after several orders were given.  After the crowd outside was gone, the crowd inside was told to leave. Most of the partygoers were very cooperative and left without incident. Remarkably there were no arrests, and no one was injured.

ST. MARIES, Idaho - In a windy, but quiet family-friendly neighborhood, it seems like everyone had a personal connection with a certain whitetail deer. “From the mailman, to the Avista guys to the contractors doing work on the homes and all the neighbors,” Mia Suchoski said. Mia Suchoski called the deer “Bucky” while her neighbors Donna and Doug Smeltzer called it “Baby.”
