The march towards fall continues with our spring football tour. We continue with Richland, a team re-tooling its coaching staff in the off-season. Adding legendary Prosser head coach Tom Moore to be the team's offensive coordinator, last November.
At Prosser, Moore won 4 state titles, the first of which dating back to 1992. He's also the father of current Boise State quarterback and 2010 Heisman finalist, Kellen Moore. This spring, the new Bomber coach feels re-born, as he begins to implement his offense at Richland.
Moore said, "We got five guys that coached at Prosser coaching here on offense... we're running our old offense. Kids are awesome. Kids are excited. Kids are eager to learn. Kids are enthusiastic. It's really been a nice fresh start for all of us. Hit the rewind button on your TIVO and I'll guarantee it will be a guy hitting on the same foot same shoulder."
Head coach of the Bombers Mike Neidhold said, "Tom's got quite a resume. He's very experienced. He's got a lot of expertise in a lot of phases of the game, and he's brought all of that to us at Richland, and some good energy as well."
