Police Looking For Man Who Shot His Neighbor's Dog
BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) - A Park County man is accused of shooting his neighbor's dog and now police are looking for him.
A warrant is out for the arrest of 41-year-old Shawn Salveson. According to court documents, he's wanted on felony charges of attempted aggravated cruelty to animals and criminal endangerment
for firing shots across Trail Creek Road.
Salveson's neighbor, Bill Buchbauer, told the Bozeman Chronicle he let out his dog out and was making breakfast when his dog was killed last month. Buchbauer says he saw Salveson drive away after
Buchbauer says he had Foxy, a shepherd-husky mix, for 8 years and she was not aggressive.
Park County officials say Salveson has not been arrested and bail on the warrant is set at $20,000.
