REPORT: Naked Man Breaks Into CDA Home And Defecates On Floor

KHQ.COM - A man was arrested in Coeur d'Alene after he allegedly broke in to a home, stripped naked, defecated on the floor and helped himself to a dip in the hot tub.

"I couldn't believe it, I thought it was the most bizarre thing I've heard in a long time," said Mark Witham, a neighbor.

According to a police report, 23-year-old Clinton Perry faces charges for unlawful entry and obstructing officers after he entered a stranger's home on the 400-block of North 12th street at around 4 a.m. Police say Perry went into the garage, took of his clothes and decided to relieve himself on the floor. He then hopped into the hot tub.

"He took what was described to me as a large dump in the garage and then buck naked walked into [the] house," says Kenneth Burchell, a neighbor.

The homeowner found the intruder and held him at gunpoint until the police arrived. The report shows Perry was heavily intoxicated and made a run for it out a back window. After a search and chase, officers found Perry in an alley a block away.

While in custody Perry admit to an officer he had been drinking downtown. "[The suspect] told [police] alcohol played a role in his behavior, but felt strange or different than he usually does when he drinks alcohol," according to the officer's report. "[The suspect] felt like he had another substance in his system but didn't know what it was."

Perry also told police "...he does not remember exactly what he did but he remembers being naked in a hot tub. He thought at first that he was at his friends hot tub, but realized he was in the wrong yard."

During the confrontation with the homeowner, Perry reportedly said "he did not want to get in trouble, and he was going to leave."

Another neighbor says Perry attacked him earlier in the night, but police have not yet confirmed the assault.

Perry was booked into the Kootenai County jail and released on bond.
