Volcanoes Burn Spokane 7-4

Updated:

The Indians' offense started out right but ran out of steam Thursday night in a 7-4 loss at Salem-Kaiser, their second straight loss to the Volcanoes.

Roughned Odor, Drew Robinson and Hanser Alberto all had RBIs for Spokane, as they held a 4-3 lead after four innings. Three Volcanoes relief pitchers - Jack Snodgrass, Wilber Bucardo and Cody Hall - combined to allow just two hits in five innings

Salem-Kaiser scored two runs in the seventh and two more in the eighth to take the game 7-4.

The same two teams play again on Friday.

The Indians head to Yakima for a three game series starting Monday. They return to Avista Stadium for a three game stand against Boise next Thursday.
