At least 30 West Coast Conference men's basketball games will be on ESPN this year thanks to the new eight-year extension of the league's TV contract.

Many of the WCC games on ESPN will be on Thursday nights. And in all, ESPN will show 21 conference games on ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU, including the conference tournament quarterfinals, semifinals and championship game on March 5.

The national network will air both of Gonzaga's games against Saint Mary's – the two teams that shared the WCC regular season title last year. ESPN will also carry both of the Zags' games against newcomer BYU (ESPN2). Overall, Gonzaga will appear on ESPN channels seven times during the conference season. BYU and Saint Mary's will appear six times.

In addition to airing conference games, ESPN will also air nine non-conference games involving WCC teams. Those games will be announced at a later date, as will which games will be broadcast on KHQ throughout the season.
