Who Is This Thief?

OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE: On August 8th a thief entered an open garage in the 11400 block of East Railroad Avenue in Spokane Valley. The suspect entered the resident's unlocked 2002 Dodge Dakota and stole an MP3 player from inside.

The victim captured images of the suspect on his personal security video system. The thief appears to be a white male about 25 to 35 years old with crew-length brown hair. He was thin and wearing a reddish t-shirt, shorts and dark shoes.

Officers would love to arrest this thief for the 6:30 p.m. burglary, but have not been able to identify the suspect.  They are hoping someone will come forward with his name.

    SEATTLE (AP) - Two Seattle police officers who shot and killed a 30-year-old pregnant woman each say they fired their weapons after the woman suddenly pulled a knife and came after them.  The Seattle Times reports that the Seattle Police Department late Friday released transcripts of interviews with the officers involved the June 18 fatal shooting of Charleena Lyles.
