UPDATE: Moses Lake Shooting Leaves One Man Dead

UPDATE: A Wednesday night shooting near Moses Lake has left one man dead. Around 9:15 p.m. on August 31, Grant County Sheriff's Deputies answered a call for a disturbance at 9027-B McConnell Drive in the Larson Housing Area northwest of the City of Moses Lake.
 
Arriving Deputies found a man on the ground outside with an apparent gunshot wound to the chest. The man stopped breathing and Deputies started CPR.

The man was transported by AMR ambulance with Fire District 5 firefighters aboard to help continue care. The man died shortly after arrival at Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake.
 
It is still very early in this investigation, and many facts are not yet known.

Detectives are interviewing a person involved in this shooting, and that person is cooperating with the investigation.

That person has not been arrested or named as a suspect in this case. The investigation continues.

Jamel Dunn drowned in a retention pond in the city of Cocoa on July 9. Cocoa police say they later discovered a group of teens recorded the 31-year-old's drowning on video. The video was released by the state attorney's office Thursday and audio was published by Florida Today.

    A Kansas makeup artist says she won a national contest sponsored by Kat Von D Beauty but was later was disqualified because of her Instagram post supporting Donald Trump's presidential candidacy. The Wichita Eagle reports screenshots taken by Gypsy Freeman of Wichita show she won the Instagram contest last month.
