Mother Drops Child While Boarding STA Bus
SPOKANE, Wash. - An investigation is underway into a possible assault case. Police are looking into an incident where a mother dropped her seven month old baby boy while boarding an STA bus outside the Union Gospel Mission Women's Shelter. Authorities tell KHQ the child now suffers from a fractured skull. It happened on August 9th.
The woman told police she was on Xanax and another drug when it happened. She was then arrested on an unrelated warrant. The baby has been put in the care of child protective services.
