LIVE VIDEO: WSU President Floyd To Gives State Of The University Address
PULLMAN, Wash. – Right now Elson S. Floyd, president of Washington State University, is delivering his fifth State of the University Address, to faculty, staff, students and community members at the Bryan Hall Theatre on the Pullman campus.
The president will discuss his plans for the future of the university as well as the strategies that WSU will employ in addressing its current budget challenges.
The speech will be available by video-stream at www.experience.wsu.edu. Viewing locations will be provided at the Spokane Academic Center, Room 20; Tri-Cities West Building, Room 252; Vancouver Classroom Building, Room 117; and the WSU West large conference room.
A public reception will follow the speech in the Bryan Hall lobby.

HARTWELL, Ga. (AP) - A 46-year-old grandmother strangled a rabid bobcat to death after the animal attacked the woman in her front yard in northeast Georgia. The Athens-Banner Herald reports DeDe Phillips of Hart County went outside on June 7 to take a picture when the bobcat lunged at her. She then grabbed the cat by its throat and didn't let go.>>
SPOKANE, Wash.- Update: Spokane Police report that the driver who hit a pedestrian crossing the street near the intersection of Northwest Boulevard and Cannon St. Saturday night is cooperating with investigators.
