HARRISON, Idaho - The city of Harrison, Idaho has mailed out and posted flyers throughout the city to
warn residents about a cougar that has been sighted several times within the
last three weeks.
The flyers inform people of ways to protect themselves and to
scare off the cougar if they happen to encounter it. Idaho's local Fish and Game
officer, Julie McCarley, said if somebody spots the cat again, they should give
her a call at 208-819-1309.
She has a team of dogs ready to hunt it and has gone
out and searched for it herself several times without any luck.
