UPDATE: Missing Lewis-Clark State College Student Found Dead

UPDATE: October 15, 6:15pm

LATAH COUNTY, Idaho - The body of a missing Lewis-Clark State College student was found Saturday morning along Highway 95 in Latah County. 36-year-old Joshwa Merriken was last seen on September 30th walking towards Moscow. It is believed he was struck by a late 1980's or early 1990's Ford pickup with a camper on September 30th between 4:30 pm and 7:00 pm.

At this time, police are looking for anyone with any information that could help identify the suspect vehicle. If you have any information you are asked to call the Idaho State Police immediately at 208-799-5150.

Joshwa Merriken was last seen September 30, 2011, walking towards Moscow, Idaho on Highway 95. He is approximately 5'9" and weighs approximately 145 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Investigators do not suspect anything suspicious in his disappearance... they just need to check on his welfare.
