Crews Knock Down House Fire North Of Spokane

COLBERT, Wash. -  Late Monday night firefighters responded to a home on fire north of Spokane.  A full response call was sent out around 11:45 Monday night to an address in the 4900 block of E. Handy Road, that's north of Day Mt. Spokane Rd. and east of Hwy 2. Fire crews say the fire started because of a candle in one of the basement rooms. The fire then spread to all three floors of the home. Right now a family of five is displaced.
