Huckleberries Purse Theft Suspect Identified By Spokane Police
KHQ.COM - Spokane Police have identified a suspect in the October 20th purse theft which occurred at the Huckleberries at 900 S. Monroe. Detectives released surveillance video of the crime Tuesday.
Investigators have since learned Jared Crabtree had been arrested for a similar purse theft on October 21, 2011 at the Albertson's on 37th and Grand. The Albertson's victim immediately called 911, officers responded and arrested Crabtree for the theft. Crabtree had driven through the parking lot on his motorcycle and stolen the purse from the victim. He was booked into SCJ for 2nd Degree Theft.
Investigators suspect Crabtree drove through the Hucklberries parking lot and stole the purse from the disabled victim on the 20th. He has not been charged with that particular crime yet.
