4 Arrested In Idaho Sex Sting

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) - The Idaho Falls Police Department says four men have been arrested in a sex sting, including one whose name became well known after he was badly beaten in a privately run Idaho prison.

Police spokeswoman Joelyn Hansen the prostitution sting was organized when two women were pulled over for suspicion of driving under the influence, and they reportedly told police they were in town to solicit sex. They reportedly agreed to help police set up an undercover sting.

Twenty-five-year-old Hanni Elabed, 55-year-old Michael Flint, 44-year-old David Peterson and 29-year-old Derek Holmes were charged with misdemeanor solicitation of prostitutes.

Elabed was involved in a lawsuit against the Idaho Correctional Center after he was beaten by another inmate while several guards watched. Elabed sustained brain damage from the beating.
