UPDATE: Wrong Way Driver Crashes Into FedEx Truck On Spokane's South Hill

UPDATE: 40-year-old San V. Luong was the driver of the blue CRV. Witnesses estimate his speed at 60-70mph, traveling the wrong way on SE Blvd before striking a Fed Ex truck head on. Luong remains in critical condition. The FedEx driver suffered minor injuries. The investigation is continuing, but it does not appear as though alcohol was a factor.

SPOKANE, Wash. - On Thursday afternoon Spokane fire crews responded to a head-on collision at 29th and Southeast Blvd. on Spokane's South Hill.

Witnesses tell KHQ that an SUV was driving northbound in the southbound lanes of Southeast Blvd at a high rate of speed when the driver crashed into a FedEx truck.

A person who was in the SUV was extricated and flown to the hospital via Medstar. The driver of the FedEx truck was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
