Early Morning Fire In Northeast Spokane - Spokane, North Idaho News & Weather KHQ.com

SPOKANE, Wash.- Right now a man is recovering from burns after an early morning fire in northeast Spokane. Fire crews were called to the 4100 block of East Fairview around 2 AM. A man who was living in his van tried lighting a heater for heat but it quickly got out of control lighting the van on fire.  The van then caught a neighboring garage on fire, but both fires were quickly put out.  The man in the van suffered minor burns and is recovering at a local hospital.
