Man Injured During I-90 Rollover Crash, Icy Roads To Blame
CDAPRESS.COM - A 29-year-old Spokane Valley man was injured during a rollover accident on icy Interstate 90 late Monday night.
According to Idaho State Police, Luis M. Schiaffini-Pineiro was eastbound at milepost 2 in Post Falls at 10:26 p.m. in a 1995 Mazda pickup when he lost control of the vehicle and crossed the right shoulder. The vehicle rolled multiple times and came to rest on its wheels.
Police believe Schiaffini-Pineiro was traveling too fast for conditions.
Schiaffini-Pineiro was wearing his seatbelt. Alcohol was not a factor.
Schiaffini-Pineiro was transported to Kootenai Medical Center,
where he was in good condition this morning.
