JOB ALERT: Moscow Walmart Hiring 170 Employees
MOSCOW, Idaho - Walmart is hiring approximately 170 associates to work at the new Walmart slated to open this fall in Moscow. To facilitate applications the retailer has opened a temporary hiring center at 672 W. Pullman Road in Moscow.
The hiring center began accepting applications Monday, Oct. 17 and will continue accepting applications from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. Monday – Saturday. Interested applicants can apply online at http://walmartstores.com/Careers.
According to store manager Helena Probasco, the store will be hiring both full- and part-time associates. "We are excited to add this Walmart to Moscow and bring good jobs with career opportunities to the area," she said. Probasco began her Walmart career in 2000 in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
Probasco said associates are needed to work in all areas of the new store, including supervisory positions.
Walmart's benefit program is available to eligible full- and part-time associates and provides a variety of affordable health and well-being benefits including medical insurance with no lifetime maximum. Walmart also offers matching 401(k) contributions of up to 6 percent of pay, discounts on general merchandise for store associates, an Associate Stock Purchase Program and company-paid life insurance. Additionally, eligible associates receive a quarterly incentive based on store performance.
The majority of associates will begin work in December to help prepare the store for its grand opening in January.
