Fire Crews Make Quick Work Of AM Downtown Business Fire

SPOKANE, Wash. - Fire crews responded to a small fire at a business Tuesday morning in the southern portion of downtown Spokane. It broke out around 7:10 a.m. at 806 W. 3rd Ave.

Fire officials at the scene told KHQ's Blake Jensen that an employee of 'Green Boats Stuff' - a business that makes environmentally friendly boat supplies - entered the office, smelled smoke and called 9-1-1. Firefighters responded and quickly got it under control.

Officials say it appears an overheated computer may have sparked the small fire.

Damage was minimal and no injuries were reported.
