Police Looking for 2 Suspects in Early Morning Armed Robbery

SPOKANE, Wash.- Right now police are looking for two suspects who robbed a Zip Trip early this morning at knife point.  Police say they received a call about the robbery around 2:30 AM, when they got to the convenience store in the two thousand block of west Francis the store clerk told them two men in their late teens or early twenties came into the store and demanded money.  They threatened the clerk with a knife and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

KHQ's Matt Rogers spoke with the clerk this morning and she described the suspects as two men in their late teens, one Asian and the other Caucasian.  She told him she was mopping the store when the two young men came in. The men had covered their faces and were wearing hoodies.

The same Zip Trip was robbed about a week and a half ago and police are trying to figure out if the two robberies are related.  If you have any information on the robbery, you're urged to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
