KHQ.COM - On Tuesday around 10:30 p.m.  Bonner County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a possible shooting. The incident took place in the vicinity of East Mountain View Road in Clark Fork, Idaho. The altercation initially started after a high school basketball game.

Several adults and one juvenile exchanged a series of threatening text messages. They then proceeded to East Mountain View Road in a vehicle. The situation escalated after the combatants arrived at the residence of Larry Dean Flanigan, Jr., 19 years old.

After a heated verbal exchange, it appears that Flanigan discharged one shotgun round at the vehicle. This resulted in two of the occupants in the vehicle being struck by birdshot bb's. One juvenile and one adult received non-life threatening injuries.

They were treated at Bonner General Hospital and were released to family members. This case remains under investigation.

Larry Dean Flanigan, Jr. was charged with two counts of Aggravated Battery and three counts of Aggravated Assault. Bond was sent at $100,000.00.
