SNAP Getting BIG Boost

SPOKANE, Wash. - Some households and community businesses in Spokane will be getting a boost from a local community action program. SNAP, which is a program and fund to help low-income families and individuals pay house bills even maintain their cars is getting Federal money to help 3,000 more people.

SNAP will be taking appointments to offer help Friday January 66th. People seeking help need to have proper identification and a social security card as well as meet specific income criteria in order to qualify for assistance.

SNAP also needs help from community donations in order to make their assistance programs possible. Appointments or donations can be made by phone to SNAP at (509)-242-2376.
