200,000 Jobs ADDED In December!

WASHINGTON (AP) - The government's latest look at the employment situation is raising hopes that the job market will continue to improve. Employers added 200,000 jobs in December, pushing the unemployment rate down for the fourth straight month.

The 8.5 percent jobless rate is the lowest since February 2009. And the economy has generated 100,000 jobs or more in each of the past six months, which hasn't happened since April of 2006.
