UPDATE: Police Arrest Suspects In Airway Heights Video Game Store Robbery

AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. - Airway Heights Police arrested two people suspected of robbing Game Stop in Airway Heights on January 10th.

Police developed information through surveillance video of the suspects and their vehicle.
 
Friday morning police located the vehicle at Highway 2 and Spotted Rd and arrested 36-year-old Merle A. Andrew and 29 year old Nicole N. Stearns. Both were arrested and booked on robbery charge.
 
Police believe the two may also be responsible for robbery a at Game Stop in N. Spokane a while back as well as robberies at Spoko Fuel and Airway Heights Cinemas.

AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. - Right now authorities are searching for the suspect who robbed a video game store in Airway Heights Tuesday night.
Airway Heights Police say around 7:15 p.m. they received a call about a robbery at the Game Stop at 10408 W. Highway 2. Police tell KHQ that a male suspect, possibly armed, entered the store and robbed it.
 
The suspect fled on foot and with the help of the Spokane Police, a perimeter was set up. A K-9 unit was called in to track the suspect, but was unsuccessful.

Police are looking at surveillance video and following up on leads into the robbery.

According to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Wake County, North Carolina, Toby the cat made the long trek back to his family after they tried to give him away. When he returned, they took him to a shelter to put him down. The shelter called the SPCA to ask if they would help

    MEDICAL LAKE, Wash. - It was an incredibly emotional night in Medical Lake as a candlelight vigil was held in this community that continues to heal. The Medical Lake family gathered tonight to be with each other and be there for each other.  On Saturday, 17-year-old Journey Tueller was killed, and three other students, Laci Sica, Savannah Sutton and Hailey Gross were injured in a crash as they were on their way to catch a team bus.
