Mead-Central Valley Wrestling Match Called Off Due to Weather

Updated:
SPOKANE, Wash. -

UPDATE: Mead school officials decided Thursday it was too dangerous to travel to Spokane Valley for Thursday's wrestling match against Central Valley. So the event has been postponed.

Central Valley honored the request for the match to be rescheduled for a later date.

SWX was set to air the match on live TV.

Forecasters predicted Spokane and Spokane Valley would see at least 2-inches of new snow on Thursday, and perhaps more in some places around the valley. Temperatures are expected to stay at or below freezing until the weekend, when snow could turn to a rain-snow mix.
