KHQ.COM - This one will be the warmest, wettest and windiest of the three! Tonight, temperatures will warm....we will see a fairly rapid transition from light snow to rain, that will be heavy at times.....with a brief chance of freezing rain possible for areas over the Northern Palouse, Spokane, CDA and the Central Panhandle, and winds will become gusty (up to 25-30mph).

The rain combined with fast melting snow will cause some major concerns for flooding and we will be watching for advisories for the next 24 hours.

Tonight: Light snow, frz. rain to rain (a MESS) 31°

Saturday:  Frz. rain and rain for the first half of the day...otherwise cloudy skies.  37°

Be safe out there!

SPOKANE, Wash. - The State Department of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) is a life-changing resource for hundreds of disabled people in Spokane. Finding them jobs, counseling and places to live. A big part of the agency's mission is at a standstill after DVR cut ties with one of it's major contractors without warning. For twenty-seven years, Compass has been a one-stop shop for launching disabled and disadvantaged residents on a path to a better, independent life.
