Teenager Stabbed At Spokane Valley Mall

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - A 14-year-old girl was taken to the hospital with a stab wound to her leg after a fight with another teenage girl at the Spokane Valley Mall Saturday afternoon.

Police say the two girls began fighting in the food court of the mall when one girl pulled out a knife and stabbed the other girl. The suspect was then pulled off the victim by a boy and they ran off. The victim was helped by mall staff and then taken to a local hospital for treatment. Her condition is unknown at this time.

The suspect and the boy managed to elude police for a short time, but were eventually located and taken into custody.

Police are still investigating the incident.

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - Spokane Valley Police are responding to a stabbing at the Spokane Valley Mall. KHQ has a crew on scene gathering more information, but what we know right now is that one 14-year-old girl was taken to the hospital with a stab wound to the leg. Police are currently searching for another teenage girl and boy.
