Shoplifter Pulls Knife On Security Guard At Shopko

SPOKANE, Wash. - Police say a man pulled a knife on a security guard at a Shopko north of Spokane Monday night.

It happened just after 9pm when a male and female were leaving the store. The female left and went to the parking lot. The male was stopped by security under suspicion on shoplifting. Once confronted, the male pulled a knife on the security guard and fled the store. Police believe he was picked up in a car by the female.The suspect got away with an unknown amount of clothes.

The male suspect is described as a thin white male, about six feet tall with long "spikey" hair and he was last seen wearing dark clothing.

SPOKANE, Wash. - Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Shopko on Newport Highway.

Details are still coming in, but police say a male and female suspect went into the store and brandished a knife and got away with merchandise and/or cash.

Police are looking at security cameras to get a better description of the suspects.
