At about 2:20 on Tuesday morning a man reportedly robbed the Zip Trip at 4900 W. Nine Mile Road at gunpoint.

The suspect entered the store, held up a rifle, and demanded cash. He then ran westbound on Royal Drive with the cash register underneath his arm. Police called in a K-9 Unit and found the weapon and have leads as to where the suspect is.
