OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE FROM THE SPOKANE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE:

Sheriff's Office Major Crimes detectives are assisting Fire District's 4 and 9 with the investigation of a mobile home fire that was reported at approximately 0500 hrs this morning in north Spokane. When emergency personnel arrived on scene the double wide mobile home was fully engulfed.

According to occupants of the residence there were 5 people who lived in the home,   3 adults and 2 children.  Both children and two of the adults were able to safely exit the residence. An adult female was not able to exit the home.
