BOISE, Idaho - An inmate who escaped from Idaho Correctional Institution-Orofino is back in custody.

At 4:01 p.m PST, a Clearwater County sheriff's deputy spotted Michael Dean Henderson, IDOC #80192, walking on Highway 12 near milepost 41 in Orofino, about one mile west of ICIO. The deputy took Henderson into custody without incident.

Henderson escaped from Givens Hall, a minimum security, community custody housing unit at ICIO, between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. The sheriff's office and Idaho Department of Correction Correctional Emergency Response Team have returned Henderson to ICIO.
