Shot Fired At University Of Idaho Residential Hall
MOSCOW, Idaho - On Sunday at 11:36 p.m. officers responded to 1305 Blake
Avenue, the University of Idaho Targhee Fine Arts Hall, a residential living and
learning community, to investigate reports of a shot fired.
Residents say a gunshot was heard outside and dust was observed next to the east facing window of the common area of the building.
Officers observed a single bullet hole in the east window. After the round entered the window it passed through the window curtains, struck a lighting fixture on the ceiling and ricocheted down into a cinderblock wall. A .45 caliber shell casing was located in the roadway east of the building on Blake Avenue.
A witness described a white sports utility vehicle, similar to a Ford Bronco, leaving north on Blake Avenue occupied by two white males at the time of the gunshot.
No injuries occurred to those inside the building.
