SPOKANE, Wash. - Emergency crews responded to a crash involving a car and an STA bus Friday morning. It happened at Maple and Wellesley in north Spokane.
Spokane Police told KHQ's Blake Jensen at the scene that shortly after 6:00 a.m. the driver of a sedan going west on Wellesley ran a red light and struck the STA bus going north on Maple. The driver of the STA was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the car was not injured but was cited for failure to stop at a red light.
The intersection of Maple and Wellesley was completely closed for nearly an hour.
