Police Searching For Woman Who Allegedly Fired Shotgun At A Bar

Spokane Police Department Press Release:

SPOKANE, Wash. - Friday night just after 9:30 P.M., officers responded to the Special K Tavern at Market/Empire for the report of a female armed with a shotgun in the parking lot.  Prior to officers' arrival, a caller reported that the female had fired at least one round.

The female left the scene prior to police arrival.

Officers interviewed witnesses at the scene.  A vehicle was located that had been damaged by the female suspect, but officers did not find evidence that shots had been fired nor was there a witness that said the female fired the shotgun.

Officers attempted to locate the suspect but at this time she is outstanding.  The investigation is continuing.

This incident happened during the triple homicide investigation in north Spokane.  In addition to the resources used at the scene, there were numerous officers assigned to locating the suspect.  Also during this time there were numerous domestic violence calls, car crashes, a pedestrian hit by a car that fled the scene, two DUI collisions/arrest.  SPD would like to thank the outside agencies that assisted us during this time, including the Washington State Patrol, Spokane County SO, the Border Patrol, and the FBI.  SPD would also like to thank the citizens who had to wait for a response or who had their response postponed for their patience and understanding during this time.

STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. - It's been nearly two years since anyone has seen or heard from Paul Brazeau. He was last seen at his son's wedding. His brokenhearted family reached out to KHQ's Hayley Guenthner with a letter asking for his case to be featured in our Q6 Cold Case series. The day Paul vanished started out so wonderful. "It was a happy day," said Paul's aunt Georgine Glatt.

SPOKANE, Wash. - Multiple fire crews from Spokane County and the Department of Natural Resources are working to mop up a series of fires that broke out along Interstate 90 west of Spokane. Crews on scene tell us that while they don't have an exact count, there were at least 3 different fires burning, all about 5-acres in size, along I-90 between exit 272 and 277.
