KHQ.COM - A pretty aggressive system moves in tonight bringing in a wintery mix of weather and gusty winds! There is a *Winter Storm Warning* from 10 pm tonight through 4 am Sunday for the Northern and Central Panhandle and through 6 pm Saturday for the Cascades.
We are expecting 3 to 9" of snow for the valley floors and up to a foot in the mountains of Idaho, the Cascades could see 18 to 30" before all is said and done. Winds combined with snow will make for dangerous driving conditions across all of the mountain passes.
Spokane and CDA are looking for a dusting tonight (1/2" to an 1")....with another 2" possible Sunday Morning. The other big player is going to be the winds, There is a *Wind Advisory* in place for Spokane, CDA, the Palouse, Moses Lake and Ritzville through Saturday night, gust are expected to reach 45-60 mph.
In addition there is a *High Wind Warning* is in place through Saturday night for the Yakima Valley and the Lower Columbia Basin, where gust could hit 70 mph.
