KHQ.COM - It is NOT going to be a good hair day!   *Wind Advisory* in place for Spokane, CDA, the Palouse, Moses Lake and Ritzville through Saturday night, gust are expected to reach 45 (60 mph for the higher benches).  In addition there is a  *High Wind Warning* is in place through Saturday night for the Yakima Valley and the Lower Columbia Basin, where gust could hit 70 mph. 
 
A *Winter Storm Warning*  is also in effect through 4 am Sunday for the Northern and Central Panhandle and through 6 pm Saturday for the Cascades. We are expecting 3 to 9" of snow for the valley floors and up to a foot in the mountains of Idaho, the Cascades could see 18 to 30" before all is said and done .  Winds combined with snow will make for dangerous driving conditions across all of the mountain passes. 
 
Spokane and CDA are looking for a dusting overnight tonight (1/2" )

    SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police say a drug deal gone bad left one man with critical injuries after being shot in northeast Spokane late Sunday night.  Police say dispatch received multiple calls of gunfire near Longfellow Road and Florida Street. At the same time, nearly two miles away, police received a call of a man who had been shot near Francis and Market.

    WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) - Two Army captains who met at West Point have returned there to be married, in what is believed to be the first same-sex marriage of active-duty personnel at the storied New York military academy.    The New York Times reports Captains Daniel Hall and Vincent Franchino were married on Jan. 13. They're both Apache helicopter pilots stationed at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas.
