Northwest Christian used its size advantage to its fullest, beating Adna 57-39 in front of a big crowd at Spokane Arena on Friday night.
Adna stayed close in the first half. They trailed 27-23 at halftime. In the second half the Pirates would make some runs, but they couldn't sustain their offense to make much of a difference.
Northwest Christian's Kwinn Hanson and Dakota Winward both scored a game-high 17 points. Hanson had 14 rebounds for the Crusaders, 10 of which were of the offensive variety.
The Crusaders shot 45 percent from the field and held the Pirates to just 24 percent.
Tucker Coleman made 4-of-10 three-pointers for Adna and scored 15 points. Nate Trotter scored 12.
Northwest Christian will play Colfax Saturday at 3 p.m. in the 2B title game. The game can be seen live on SWX throughout Eastern Washington.
