SPOKANE, Wash. -
Overnight: Damp roads become icy roads by late evening as
temperatures quickly plummet below freezing...Winds slacken dramatically
to 10-15mph. As for clouds & precipitation…partly to mostly cloudy skies
from Spokane County eastward into Idaho…snow showers mainly in the mountains and
clear skies to the west of Spokane County
Tuesday: Much Colder
with a "CHILLY" northerly breeze…Forecast windchill temperatures should "feel
like" it's in the teens first thing in the morning and only in the mid-20's
during the afternoon. Otherwise, expect a partly cloudy day with widely
scattered mountain snow showers, followed by additional late afternoon
clearing…Low/High 25°/37°
Wed - Fri: Gradual warming & dry
weather each day…topping out in the 50's by Friday
FYI: Lightning
struck the ground 156,399 times during last Friday's severe weather outbreak in
the Eastern U.S. (a hazard overshadowed by the killer tornadoes). Kind regards,
Dave
