The Spokane Indians and SWX TV will team up to bring fans six televised games during the upcoming 2012 season, starting with Opening Night Fireworks on Friday, June 15th against the Vancouver Canadians.

"The televised games were a huge success last year and provided another great way for our fans to enjoy the games," said Indians Senior Vice President Otto Klein. "SWX did a terrific job capturing the excitement of Indians baseball and we look forward to the same in 2012."

This will be the third consecutive summer that live broadcasts of Spokane Indians Baseball will be featured on SWX. In addition to Opening Night, the other five televised games for the season include: Friday, July 6th vs. Yakima; Saturday, July 14th vs. Eugene; Friday, August 3rd vs. Boise; Saturday, August 11th vs. Everett; and Friday, August 24th vs. Salem-Keizer.

Sam Adams, the senior sports anchor at KHQ-TV, will return as the play-by-play announcer, with color commentary to be provided by Mike Boyle, Bob Robertson, Bob Castle, and others.

SWX TV is a sports and weather division of KHQ Broadcasting, and can be seen over-the-air and through some cable services in the Spokane-Coeur d'Alene, Kennewick-Pasco-Richland, and Yakima viewership areas.
