UPDATE: Body Found In Vehicle Near Base Of Mt. Spokane

UPDATE: On Wednesday morning Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of an unresponsive female next to her vehicle near the area of 19900 N. North Mt. Spokane Drive. County road engineers located the vehicle near the end of a county road off North Mt. Spokane Drive at about 9:45 a.m. The vehicle was off the shoulder of the road in a ditch and the deceased female was outside the passenger side of her vehicle.
 
Deputies arrived on scene and confirmed the female was deceased and did not see anything criminal or suspicious through their investigation. The Medical Examiner's Office took custody of the female and will release her identity at a later time.

SPOKANE, Wash. - On Wednesday morning a passerby noticed a car off the road just off Kellogg road, which is about 1/2 way up Mt Spokane Park Dr. (hwy 206).

When authorities arrived on the scene they found a person who was deceased. According to deputies it appears that the driver died of natural causes and then went off the road but investigators are on scene looking into the situation. It's not clear if the person found is a man or a woman. The identity of the person has not been released.
