SCRAPS Holds Open House For Possible Relocation

SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. - The Spokane County Board of Commissioners and SCRAPS Director Nancy Hill held in an Open House at the former Harley Davidson Building (also known as the Latus Building) on Wednesday.

Located at 6815 E. Trent, the building is being considered as a possible site for the new SCRAPS Regional Animal Control Facility.  

Local elected officials and key staff have been invited.  The event was hosted by Realtor Bob Tibbits, who provided tours of the building.

    A group of B.C. firefighters who took home five puppies they believed were lost during a fire is now being asked to return them to their owner. Heidi Lang told Castanet that the firefighters mistakenly scooped the puppies up along a road that runs through her farm.   According to a Facebook post by B.C.
