School Under Fire For Math Problem

AOL.COM - Parents are outraged after 139 fourth grade students in Georgia were given a math problem referencing slavery, WAGA-TV reports.

Christopher Jackson, the parent of a 9-year-old at the school, told the station his son brought home the offensive extra-credit question with his homework.

"A plantation owner had 100 slaves," the question read, according to the station. "If three-fifths of them are counted for representation, how many slaves will be counted?" click here to read more

The driver's license is still good for driving and standard identification but those three words indicate that the ID is not valid for federal identification purposes. The ID cannot be used to board a plane or enter federal buildings starting October 1st, 2020. The real id act is a federal law, which was passed by congress in 2005...

Ron was also a Spokane firefighter and was the oldest recruit at the time. He was 45 years old and only retired five years ago after serving 14 years fighting fires. Many who knew Ron, knew he had a creative side. He loved building rat rods and sculpting anything out of metal. He sculpted this dragon which actually can breathe fire...
