12 Injured During Turbulence On Flight To Houston
MSNBC.COM - At least 12 people were injured Wednesday during turbulence on a flight from Tampa, Fla., to Houston.
United Airlines officials said Flight 1727 experienced the turbulence over Louisiana. The plane landed shortly before 8 a.m. at Bush Intercontinental Airport. Officials said 52 people were on board.
The Houston Fire Department has seven ambulances at the airport to help the injured. Three passengers were taken to the hospital, according to Houston Airport System spokeswoman Darian Ward.

DODSON, Mont. - Two people were injured in Montana Wednesday morning after swerving to avoid a kangaroo on the road. Trooper Matt Finley with the Montana Highway Patrol said he thought it was a joke when he responded to the call, but when he arrived at about 4 a.m. he saw the kangaroo. Trooper Finley said he learned there is a kangaroo farm west of Dodson.>>
