Sheriff: Another Suspect Identified In The Coverup Of Marcus Schur Murder

COLFAX, Wash. - The Whitman County Sheriff's Office has identified another suspect believed to have assisted in the cover up of the murder of Marcus Schur. Schur is believed to have been killed the night of December 27th, 2011 in Malden, WA. His body was later discovered in a creek near Bonnie Lake.

Authorities believe Eli J. Lindsey 36yoa of Washtucna, WA assisted Frank and Daniel Lazcano the night of the murder by disposing of evidence related to the crime, and later obstructed the investigation by providing false information to law enforcement when questioned about the incident.

Investigators are currently working with Lindsey's attorney to arrange for a time when he can surrender to authorities. Lindsey is expected to face charges of Rendering Criminal Assistance and Obstructing a Law Enforcement Officer.
