What does the money that is raised during the telethon go to?

1)      Get the Country's Largest Armed Forces Day Torchlight parade down the road!

2)      Creates a parade that celebrates ALL that is good about our Community and our Region!

3)      Funds the year round operations of the Lilac Festival.

a. 100% Volunteer organization
b.  Active all throughout the year serving and showcasing our region

4)      Contributes to the Royalty Scholarships we award to our Royalty Candidates

a. Over $18,000 in scholarships available
b. All 14 girls are eligible to win any scholarship (many Spring Free Girls receive                 scholarships each year.)

5)      Fund the various areas of the festival

e. Area Relations (visiting other Northwest Festival Hosting Parade Cities)
