The Shock offense, led my returned quarterback Kyle Rowley, found its groove Saturday night, crushing the Milwaukee Mustangs 57-26.
All of a sudden it appears the Spokane Shock have found their offensive groove.
Led by returned quarterback Kyle Rowley, Spokane scored on all but one possession and beat the Milwaukee Mustangs 57-26. Where the Shock had committed 16 turnovers in their first four games, they had just one on Saturday.
Things really started to clock for offense, and it can only get better, said head coach Andy Olson.
"We played a good game, I won't say it was great, but we played a good game," said Olson. "We're getting better, we're better than we were last week and we'll get better the next week after that. Rowley is a very confident quarterback, he's a very smart quarterback. We have a great relationship this season. The timing and the offense is only going to get better every week."
Rowley echoed his coach's sentiments.
"I feel comfortable with the whole thing," said Rowley. "Even if I didn't I wouldn't say it because I don't want to make excuses. We feel like we're one of the top offenses in the league at this point, and we're going on proving that."
The Shock have their second bye of the season this week. Their next game is April 28 on the road against Jacksonville.
