16th Annual "Kids for Kids" Penny Drive is this Saturday
(SPOKANE, Wash., April 25, 2012) -- Save your loose change for the Spokane Guilds' School Foundation's 16th Annual Community "Kids for Kids" Penny Drive on Saturday, April 28, 2012. This is the community's opportunity to support infants and toddlers with developmental disabilities at the Spokane Guilds' School & Neuromuscular Center. Your loose change, even your pennies, can make a tremendous difference in the lives of children, birth to age three, who need and deserve early intervention therapies at the Spokane Guilds' School & Neuromuscular Center.
The Spokane Guilds' School Foundation is grateful to our following Penny Drive Partners: Darigold; Lawton Printing; PEMCO; Sterling Bank; Dorian Studio Inc; Numerica Credit Union; and the Inland Northwest Car Club Council.
This year there will be various donation drop-off sites across town and Spokane County; sites will be open from
9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Stop by a site near you! This is a great community event, to find out how you can support the Spokane Guilds' School & Neuromuscular Center, please contact Korin Neal at 326-1651 or kneal@guildschool.org

The Penny Drive began in 1996, and funds raised support the Spokane Guilds' School Foundation. This fund distributes approximately $180,000 per year to the operation of the Spokane Guilds' School & Neuromuscular Center (SGS&NMC) and helps ensure that funding will be available for years to come, regardless of government funding. At the SGS&NMC, over 200 children annually with developmental disabilities in Spokane County receive a comprehensive neuromuscular assessment, followed by individualized treatment including physical, occupational, speech and language and cognitive therapies, regardless of ability to pay.
