Tri-Cities Fever win eighth straight, beat New Mexico Stars, 37-20

KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The Tri-Cities Fever beat the New Mexico Stars on Friday night, 37-20. The streak of wins to open the season reaches eight.

Houston Lillard went 16-22 for 182 yards and three touchdown passes. Lillard also ran for a touchdown. Tre Young caught seven passes for 125 yards and two touchdowns. Steven Whitehead caught three passes for 10 yards and one touchdown. Dennis Kennedy ran for 25 yards and one touchdown.

Next for Tri-Cities will be the fourth of four games this season with the Everett Raptors. They will play May 4 in Everett.
